Day Nursery – Manchester

Following extensive fire damage to their existing nursery the client required a new facility to be created in a vacant building on an adjacent site. The project needed to be completed within a strict deadline due to the limited availability of temporary alternative accommodation.

Designed to meet Ofsted requirements, the works involved separation of the nursery from the upper floors, conversion of the ground floor and basement and construction of a large rear extension complete with covered and open play areas. The existing car parking was extended and new entrance steps complete with lift provided to the front entrance.

The project was designed, constructed and occupied within 11 months of its inception.
