Primary School Refurbishment

Completed in September 2011 this project involved a major maintenance refurbishment of the School and was undertaken in three phases during 2010 and 2011.

The flat roof covering was replaced to the entire school using a new insulated high performance felt roofing system. New sunpipes were installed to provide natural lighting and ventilation to the teaching spaces provided through the use of windcatchers.

Windows and doors were replaced with aluminium framed double glazed units incorporating solar control glazing. Fascias and rainwater goods were renewed throughout.

Internally all areas were completely modernised including new doors, ceiling, flooring and decoration. In addition three extensions were added to improve the entrance, staff accommodation and reception classroom facilities.

• Preparation of detailed drawings and specifications
