Bank Conversion – Wirral

Undertaken as a design and build contract this project involved the conversion of a former bank building to create a retail showroom.

The major element of the project involved the removal of an existing domed roof and provision of an additional upper floor, of lightweight construction, incorporating significant areas of glazed curtain walling and a large projecting canopy.

Internally a new suspended floor was required, to infill the opening of the former dome, with a semi-circular staircase to provide access.

  • Measured survey of existing building
  • Submission of drawings for Building Regulation approval
  • Preparation of detailed drawings and technical specification
